TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Warranty Policy

MacTec Enterprises (MacTec) does not warranty any product sold on this website.  All products sold by MacTec are only subject to any warranty terms that may be provided by the manufacturer. MacTec is not a warranty service provider and any problems of malfunction, or other factory defects must be addressed directly with the manufacturer.

Under no circumstances shall MacTec be responsible for incidental or consequential damages with respect to economic loss or injury, whether as a result of express or implied warranty, negligence or otherwise. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation may not apply to you.

Product Pricing

All product prices and specifications listed for sale on this website are subject to change at any time. MacTec will honor price change requests for online orders placed within 24 hours of the price change. MacTec does not honor price change requests for orders placed more than 24 hours prior to the change in price.

Purchasing

MacTec can only accept orders from customers with USPS shipping addresses within the U.S.A. and it's territories.

MacTec sells both, items that are stocked on a regular basis and special order items that are imported from Germany at the request of the customer. Each item on our website will display above the price if it is a Special Order Item.  Refer to the Shipping section of these policies for more information regarding shipping times for special order and back ordered products.

All payments are processed immediately upon placement of order.

It is the responsibility of the customer to know and be in compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws related to selling, transferring, possessing, transporting, or using purchased products in the locality in which the customer resides.

Order Cancellation Policy

MacTec reserves the right to cancel any order, at any time, for any reason. Orders placed with MacTec may be cancelled by the customer prior to the item having shipped. All orders cancelled at customer request will be subject to a 10% Cancellation Fee to cover our credit card processing fees and other expenses.

If the item/package has shipped, the order may not be cancelled and the customer must follow all rules applicable to returns. Please note that the return of the item/package will be made at the customer's expense.

Cancelled orders can not be reversed. All cancellations are final.

Return Policy

Non-defective items may be returned in original, unused condition for exchange or refund within 10 days of receipt unless otherwise specified. All returns require prior authorization and an emailed request for authorization must be made within 5 days of order receipt. MacTec reserves the right not to accept any return that does not adhere to this policy. Shipping costs and fees are not refundable. All returns for refund or exchange are subject to a 10% restocking fee unless the return is a result of our mistake. In addition to the restocking fee, returned items shipped with free shipping will have a shipping cost deducted from the refund. Refunds cannot be issued for any item that has been damaged, modified, or otherwise returned in any condition that prevents the item from being restocked and sold as new condition.

MacTec will not be responsible or accept the return of gun grip products that are damaged during installation.  Reproducing in wood the the thin, angular design of certain models of grips results in a product that is much more fragile than the original factory plastic grips. This is especially true for the narrow, pointed section at the top rear of the right side panel for HK P7 series pistols. Improper technique and/or pressure applied during installation or removal can result in this narrow pointed section snapping off. This type of breakage is not covered by the manufacturer's (Karl Nill GmbH) warranty and should it occur, the grip cannot be replaced by Nill (or MacTec). In such events, the sole remedy for the customer would be to ship the grip with broken piece back to Nill in Germany for repair with the cost of shipping being the customer's responsibility. If you are not comfortable with assuming this risk or this policy as stated, please do not order these items.

Authorized returns must be shipped back to MacTec via Priority Mail or UPS within 5 business days of authorization. Returns should be wrapped carefully in bubble wrap or newspaper, shipped in a sturdy box, and insured for the full value. MacTec will not be responsible for returns that are lost by the carrier or arrive damaged during return shipment.  By placing an online order with MacTec, the customer agrees to pay all restocking and shipping fees associated with any order that is returned for credit or exchange.  MacTec will deduct the applicable fees from any refund of the purchase price.

CUSTOMER FURTHER AUTHORIZES AND CONSENTS TO MACTEC CHARGING THE AFOREMENTIONED FEES TO THE DEBIT OR CREDIT CARD USED TO PLACE THE ORIGINAL ONLINE ORDER.

MacTec reserves the right to dispute any bank or credit card chargebacks. MacTec reserves the right to refuse all future orders placed by any customer that cancels an order via debit or credit card chargeback.

Shipping

MacTec can only ship orders to customers with USPS shipping addresses within the U.S.A. and it's territories.

MacTec ships orders valued at $50 or greater via insured USPS Priority Mail and lesser valued orders via USPS First Class.

If the item you ordered showed to be in-stock, your order should ship within 24-48 hrs. If the item was out of stock or designated as Special Order on its product page, it may take 4-8 weeks for your order to ship. Refer to the SHIPPING NEWS AND UPDATES link on our website for the latest information regarding estimated shipping schedules for back orders and special orders.

MacTec orders and imports all our Nill Grip products direct from the Karl Nill factory in Germany.  Nill typically ships our orders once a month. Depending on when you place your special order or back order in relation to the timing of our next scheduled shipment, it may be 4-8 weeks before we have your grips to ship. Please keep this turn-around time in mind when placing a special order. We never know when the next shipment will arrive until it is actually delivered. Shipments can and sometimes do get delayed by the Nill factory, delays in clearing U.S. Customs, etc. Due to the many issues involved with importing these products from Germany, MacTec cannot guarantee a delivery date for special orders or back orders.

If you combine special order items or out-of-stock items with in-stock items on the same order, your order will not ship until all items are available. Be sure to order any in-stock items separately if you want them to be shipped immediately.

ORDERS LOST OR DAMAGED IN SHIPPING: For orders that may be lost during shipping, MacTec will at our discretion replace or refund the item(s) after an insurance claim is filed by MacTec and processed by the USPS. Packages that are shown to have been delivered via the USPS tracking service cannot be considered lost for replacement or refund. It is the customer's responsibility to secure deliveries of packages delivered to their address and MacTec will not be responsible for packages which may be stolen or otherwise misplaced after being scanned as delivered by USPS. It will be the sole responsibility of the customer to contact USPS for any recourse or additional tracking regarding such losses.

For orders that may be damaged during shipping, MacTec will at our discretion replace or refund the item(s) upon receiving adequate documentation from the customer to file an insurance claim with USPS. The customer will be required to sign an affidavit provided by MacTec that the item(s) were received damage during shipment. The customer may also be required to supply digital photos of the damaged items and packaging. It is the customer's responsibility to provide this required documentation to MacTec for our insurance claim in order to qualify for exchange or replacement of the item(s) damaged in shipment.
